Who We Are

ReccoDesk is operated by ReccoDesk, located at 777 N Jefferson St. Suite 408 PMB 1302, Milwaukee, WI 53202. ReccoDesk provides AI recommendation visibility audits, which test whether AI assistants recommend a given business in response to industry specific buyer questions.

By using reccodesk.com or any ReccoDesk service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

02

Information We Collect

  • Business information you submit. When you run a scan you provide a business name, location, and industry. This is information about a business rather than about you personally.
  • Contact information. If you purchase a report or subscribe to monitoring, we collect your email address so we can deliver your report and communicate about your purchase.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive a transaction record, the last four digits, and billing status.
  • Technical information. We record your IP address to enforce rate limits on free scans and prevent abuse, along with standard server logs.
  • Scan and report data. We store scan results and generated reports, including responses returned by AI models and the scores we derive from them.

We do not want sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, health information, or financial credentials. Please do not submit these.

03

How We Use Information

  • Run scans and generate the reports you request.
  • Deliver reports and monitoring updates by email.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Enforce rate limits, detect abuse, and maintain security.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Improve the accuracy of our scoring, prompts, and reports.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers and we do not use it for advertising.

04

AI Processing

ReccoDesk works by sending queries to third party AI providers, currently Anthropic and OpenAI, and analyzing what those providers return. The business name, location, and industry you submit are included in those queries, and those queries may trigger web searches performed by the provider.

Information you submit is therefore transmitted to and processed by those providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control how they handle data on their side.

Because we submit business information rather than personal information, this normally involves publicly available facts about a business. Please do not include personal details about yourself or others in the fields you submit.

05

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of third party services to operate. Each receives only what it needs:

  • Anthropic and OpenAI. AI providers that generate the responses we analyze.
  • Google Places. Used to look up and confirm business details.
  • Supabase. Our database, which stores scans, orders, and reports.
  • Stripe. Our payment processor, which handles all card data and billing.
  • Cloudflare. Our hosting and network provider.
  • Resend. Our transactional email provider.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or where necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

06

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site, such as maintaining your session and completing checkout. Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention during payment. We do not use advertising cookies or third party tracking pixels.

07

Data Retention

We retain scan and report data for as long as needed to provide the service and to support month over month comparisons for monitoring subscribers. Purchase records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. IP addresses collected for rate limiting are retained briefly and then discarded.

You may request deletion at any time using the contact details below, though we may be required to retain certain transaction records.

08

Security

We use encryption in transit, encrypted secret storage for API credentials, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.

09

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. California residents have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10

Children

ReccoDesk is a business to business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be emailed to active subscribers. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
