I am the founder of ReccoDesk.
My background is finance - 11 years in financial services across analyst and advisory roles. Over that time I found the part I actually enjoyed was sitting with business owners and working through whatever was in their way. Building software turned out to be a better way to do that at scale than another spreadsheet.
Before this I built and sold an app for roofing contractors. The thing that came up again and again from the contractors using it was how hard it was to get recommended online - that they were good at the work, and it did not seem to translate into being the name anyone found first.
That is what became ReccoDesk. The searches have moved since then, but the complaint has not changed.
What changed. More people every year ask ChatGPT or Claude for a plumber, an electrician, an HVAC company - before they Google anything. The assistant names two or three local businesses. Everyone else may as well not exist. Most owners have no idea whether they are on that list, no way to find out, and no idea what decides it.
ReccoDesk answers both: whether AI recommends you, and what to change so it starts to.
AI assistants do not invent their recommendations. They build them from what they can find and verify about a business - your profile, your service pages, your reviews, the directories they trust. When they name a competitor instead of you, it is usually because that business gave them more to work with.
That is the part you can change, and it is what ReccoDesk is built around. The report shows which questions you lose, who gets named instead, what those businesses have that you do not, and exactly what to fix - in priority order. Do that work and you give the assistants a reason to name you.
What I will not do is promise you a ranking. Nobody controls what these models say, they change without notice, and anyone selling you a guarantee is guessing. What I can tell you is what they say about you today, why, and what is within your control to improve.
Email reaches me directly, not a support queue. If something in your report does not make sense, or you think I have got something wrong about your business, tell me. That is useful and I will fix it.
